We provide transportation programs for companies and developers.
Transportation Programs
The Lower Mystic TMA offers memberships for companies and developers of all sizes. We work with our members to provide programs that impact the daily lives of the people that live and work in the Lower Mystic area.
We offer four levels of membership so that you can get the level of services that are right for your business:
Base membership: Base membership is ideal for smaller companies or businesses that would like to be a part of the solution to traffic and congestion but who do not need full access to subsidy and incentive programs.
Associate membership: Associate membership refers to developments that are required or choose to join the TMA during the initial phases of their projects. This level of membership allows the TMA to work with project managers to prepare for tenant move-in and create plans for mitigating the transportation impacts of the site. This level of membership is short term between the time of project approval and building occupancy.
Partner: Partner level of membership are employers and developers who have access to all TMA programs for their employees and tenants, as well as marketing and resource materials and events.
Permitted: This level of membership applies to Everett developments that are subject to the City’s TDM ordinance as part of their permitting process. It affords access to all TMA services, marketing and resources, as well as additional TDM consulting for compliance with TDM planning.
Rideshare
Have a few employees who live near each other? Our ridesharing program allows users to find other users who are commuting from a similar area at a similar time.
Vanpooling
Vanpools can be a great mode if you have a group that is on a fixed schedule. A vanpool offers a customized pickup point to gather a large group of employees or tenants and shuttle them to/from work.
MBTA
The TMA works closely with our members and their tenants or employees to provide up to date information on MBTA service and schedules. We work directly with employers on implementation of MBTA subsidy programs to make transit more convenient and affordable.
Biking/Walking
If you have employee/tenants who live close to work, or just need some help closing the gap from public transit, biking and walking can be a great alternative. The LMTMA can provide routing assistance, advice on safety and incentives for those who want to travel “green”.
Bikeshare
Bikeshare is a great alternative for those who do not own their own bike or who are looking for a faster way to travel than on foot. Our discounted Bluebikes memberships give employees/tenants a more sustainable way to get to work. Bikeshare can be used for all trips, commuting, recreation, errands, etc.
The LMTMA is offering a free annual Bluebikes membership to all eligible members. To qualify, users just need to redeem, take, and track one trial Bluebikes ride on our WaytoGo app.
